What IS the greatest Halloween Costume Contest ever?
Should we have big prizes to inspire fancier costumes… or will that mean people with simpler costumes can’t compete. Should we have prizes for fanciest, most expensive, cheapest, best homemade?
Should it be a panel of judges? Judging by the audience? Judging entirely by as many sapient pearwood trees as we can convince to stop by?
Should we have TWO costume contests for people who can’t make it one of the days?
Separate kids’s contest and adut contest?
Free to enter? Paid to enter? (We generally go with “free”. But we might have one or two categories that are paid competitions – so people who are professional or semiprofessional costumers have their own cateory.)
