Creating cartoons since they were 12 years old, Corey studied at the Savannah College of Art and Design to further expand their abilities in creating wacky and weird animations for mostly big kids to enjoy. Currently they are working on their next big project, an animated pilot for a psychological horror/dramady, “Please Stay Tuned”!
Lenin Comprés is a professional in interactive media, education sciences, and performing arts. He is a professor and creative technologist at New York University’s TISCH School of the Arts and a graduate of Columbia University’s Teacher’s College. He has written award-winning works in the Dominican Republic such as the script for the movie A State of Madness—co-written with Waddys Jáquez—which represented the country at the 2021 Oscars. He is also the creator of the first original Dominican-authored board game—with the first and only instructional booklet written entirely in verse and rhyme—Lenino’s JACK RABBITS.

But what would the ‘greatest’ show be? Couldn’t be the biggest; too many people are busy in th Halloween season, and too many oddities collections are private. The oddest? We think places like The Mutter Museum should get that honor. But!
But we sure can be a haven for enthusiasts of the strange, unusual, and macabre. Our aspiration is to combine he charm of a traditional Halloween market with the eclectic allure of a Steampunk festival, creating a marvelous blend of experience that draws visitors from all over the region. After nearly a decade of paid events at the Blackthorne Resort, the 2024 Catskills Halloween Vendor and Oddities Market has gone FREE! And we are gearing up to be one of the largest and most thrilling free Halloween festivals in the Northeast. This spectacular event, held from October 18-20 at the Blackthorne Resort in East Durham, promises a weekend brimming with spooky delights, eccentric oddities, and unforgettable experiences.
