Absinthe, “The Green Fairy”, that most Steampunk of alcoholic beverages, was banned in the United States for a considerable amount of time. Even today, most people know surprisingly little about this enthralling beverage.
The event begins at 11 a.m. in the Blackthorne Pub with a sampling and discussion of several absinthes, both blanche and verte. It will showcase different drinking methods, as well as incorporate an informal and friendly Q&A.
