Not everyone thinks that the simple pleasures in life are the best. King Louis XIV, for example, would frequently complain that his couch was not rotated in the proper direction to catch the rays of the sun at that particular hour, his beverage wasn’t cooled to the precise temperature on his thermometer, and the rain persisted in happening no matter how many times he ordered it to stop by royal decree.
The rest of us can often let ourselves enjoy the little things.
There aren’t a lot of things better than the big, beautiful Blackthorne bonfire, but one of them is taking your marshmallows, graham crackers, and chocolate, and making S’mores with us!
